Hospital Highlights:
- Level I Adult Trauma Center serving Missouri and Illinois
- Daily trauma census of 3545 patients
- 23 dedicated orthopedic trauma ORs daily
- Strong support team including residents, NPs, and clinical trauma nurses
- Access to fellowship-trained orthopedic traumatologists
- EMR: Epic
Clinical Scope Includes:
- High-energy fractures, polytrauma, and periarticular injuries
- Ilizarov techniques, pelvic/acetabular reconstruction
- Advanced hindfoot, ankle, and limb deformity correction
- No elective clinic unless requested
Job Details:
- Shifts : 24-hour call; frequency flexible
- Support : In-house backup from trauma fellows and residents
- Credentialing : Streamlined for locums; malpractice provided
- Housing and travel : Covered
