Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including labor markets and, in some instances, education, work experience and certifications. Target’s Legal Affairs is a dynamic and deeply knowledgeable team of experts. We advocate for Target, support Target’s business and mitigate risk for the company, working with internal and external entities on issues that affect Target’s ability to conduct business. We help protect the business by applying our understanding of risk and the law on issues that impact our brand, guests, team members, stores, distribution centers and corporate locations. In this role, you’ll work autonomously with a healthy work-life balance and collaborate with senior leaders and key business partners to tackle legal and risk-based challenges in a fast-paced retail environment. A role in Strategy and Operations means creating effective and efficient processes and tools that Legal Affairs uses to deliver service to enterprise clients. You’ll coordinate critical resources across teams and build valuable relationships. The Records and Legal product is responsible for managing Enterprise Records Management across the company and supporting the Core Law and Government Affairs functions. This space is evolving with generative AI, and we are excited to reimagine possibilities with you. Product Teams at Target are accountable for delivering business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, maintain and reliable. You will work with your product team and stakeholders to develop a plan and business objectives (OKRs) and to build knowledge through product discovery and data collection to prioritize direction and outcomes. You will collaborate with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product. You will be the “voice of the product” with your team, maintain and refine the product backlog (user stories and acceptance criteria) and prioritize work for impact. You will encourage open exchange of information and inspiration to achieve goals, and you will manage through obstacles with a sense of urgency. Four-year degree or equivalent experience 4+ years of product management experience 3+ years of records management, legal operations, or legal tech experience preferred Technical aptitude Experience working in an agile environment Strong communication skills Working Arrangement
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day arrangement means the role may be performed onsite at Target HQ in Minnesota and virtually, depending on daily requirements.
