Overview
SAP SD OTC with Variant Configuration Consultant Responsibilities
S4 Variant Configuration Implementation experience required. Prefer Advanced VC experience. Design Variant Configuration; strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business users. Should have handled OTC on implementation and rollout projects. Configure Variant Configurations in SAP OTC. Configure Sales areas and distribution channel. Implement S4 HANA SD best practices and coordinate with multiple teams. Well versed with pricing and procedures and expert in Variant configuration in SD. Provide deep SAP functional expertise in the given process area, including knowledge of key integration points across SAP modules and technical components. Participate in design for and deployment of integrated end-to-end solutions; partner with other IT delivery team members to ensure efficient design, development, and implementation. Participate in end-to-end design workshops, applying industry best practices and global SAP implementation experience. Document fit/gap analysis and design decisions; justify deviations from out-of-the-box functionality with business value. Complete functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and/or workflow (RICEFW). Interface with 3rd party vendors for technical consulting during solution design, development, and ongoing support. Partner with development (RICEFW) team members to ensure technical design and delivery align to functional specifications and quality requirements. Complete system configuration work. Share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the process area. Provide regular and accurate status updates and other documentation to management for assigned project, support, and enhancement work. Qualifications
Strong SAP SD OTC with Variant Configuration expertise; experience in S4 Variant Configuration. Experience with OTC implementation and rollout projects. Hands-on experience configuring Variant Configurations in SAP OTC and sales areas/distribution channels. Good understanding of pricing/procedures in SD and VC. Ability to work with business users and cross-functional teams; excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience in end-to-end SAP solution design, integration with other modules, and RICEFW delivery. Ability to document fit/gap analyses and design decisions with clear business justification.
