Corporate Controller
(Greater Philadelphia Area / Hybrid) Base pay range: $250,000.00/yr - $275,000.00/yr Our client is a $1B+ Private Equity backed manufacturer based in the Greater Philadelphia area. The company is experiencing rapid growth through a combination of organic and inorganic growth. This position reports to the CFO and will lead the accounting function, shaping financial strategy, optimizing systems, and supporting future acquisitions. This opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact in a growth-oriented, customer-first organization. Responsibilities
Lead the Accounting Department in implementing best-in-class processes, participate in review processes for balance sheet analytics and reconciliations, and provide thought leadership and guidance ensuring projects are completed to a high standard. Ensure that the Department’s organizational structure is adequate for sustaining the Company’s projected growth and that staff members are properly trained and supervised to perform all required functions Oversee the month-end global close process and consolidation of financial statements. Manage and ensure that the Company is in compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting and tax filing requirements Lead the Company’s year-end close, annual audit and quarterly review processes, including preparation of financial statements, footnotes and supporting documentation. Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance, provide US GAAP interpretation, and prepare technical memorandums that document issues in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner Support the business and operations teams on accounting matters related to business decisions. Ensure new contracts have the appropriate review in order to identify and elevate accounting implications Responsible for purchase accounting, consolidation and integration of future acquisitions Highlight processes where technology can reduce manual effort and lead individual implementation programs as appropriate. Plan and oversee on-going internal processes to push for efficiencies, automation and accuracy of financial management and financial systems Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred 15+ years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting experience a plus. Demonstrated background and knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls Project leadership in the financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, system implementations or other sizeable finance or corporate projects Advanced automation of tasks (Robotic Process Automation) Job details
