We are seeking a talented and motivated Accounting and Finance Associate to join our dynamic Finance Team and contribute to our mission and transforming financial services through technology. This position is based in Boston, MA. While we support remote working arrangements, we expect you to work out of our Boston office at least twice a week for the first two months to facilitate team integration, training, and collaboration. Month-end close process in NetSuite, including journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial statements for US and UK operations Oversee employee time reporting and analysis Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes: vendor invoicing/payments, customer billing, and expense reimbursements Prepare and file VAT (UK) and state sales tax (US) filings; liaise with external tax advisors Payroll processing via a third-party processor and benefits administration in the US and UK, including resolving state tax issues and 401(k) compliance Ensure GAAP compliance, particularly for revenue recognition Support the annual audit with external auditors Support FP&A work: monthly management/Board reporting, dashboards, sales KPIs, forecasts, budgets-to-actuals, and cash flow forecasting Identify and implement systems for business process and internal control improvements; document standard operating procedures Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field Experience:

1–3 years in accounting, ideally with a technology or professional services company (internships welcome) Prior public accounting experience is a plus CPA is a plus Skills and Competencies

Strong Excel skills; solid computer proficiency Solid understanding of US GAAP; experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and interpersonal skills Proactive, curious, and thrives in fast-paced, hybrid environments Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with teams and external partners Physical Demands and Work Environment
