Overview
Lead Superintendent – 300-Unit Multifamily Podium Project. We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee the field operations of a 300-unit podium-style multifamily development. This individual will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence, while leading field staff and subcontractors through all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary field leader, directing daily site operations from groundbreaking through final turnover. Supervise and mentor Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and craft labor. Maintain strong working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners. Develop and manage the project schedule; coordinate sequencing for podium concrete, vertical construction, MEP rough-in, and finishes. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, quality standards, and local building codes. Coordinate inspections, resolve field issues, and maintain progress towards milestones. Lead implementation of site safety program; conduct toolbox talks, safety audits, and enforce compliance. Ensure podium structure (concrete, waterproofing, fireproofing) is built to the highest standards of safety and durability. Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a Lead Superintendent on large-scale multifamily or mixed-use projects. Proven experience on podium (concrete over structured parking) projects is required. Strong knowledge of multifamily building systems (concrete, wood framing, MEP coordination, envelope, interiors). Track record of delivering 200+ unit projects on time and within budget. Proficiency in construction scheduling software (P6, MS Project, Procore). OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certified preferred.
