Assistant/Associate/Professor - Peoria (Child Development). Location: Peoria, IL, USA. Base pay range: $159,000/yr – $226,650/yr. Posting Close Date: 12/14/2025. The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) seeks a physician for a position at the level of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor to enhance an important clinical program within the Division of Child Development and Rehabilitation. The general pediatrician will work with neurodevelopmental pediatricians, developmental behavioral pediatricians and nurse practitioners to support the development of comprehensive service lines. Candidates with scholarly and research interests and experience in teaching medical students and residents are highly desirable. Duties & Responsibilities

Participate in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs of the Department. Provide outpatient diagnostic and management services for patients in the region with general developmental delay, intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder. Organize and conduct research programs in developmental behavior pediatrics. Perform other duties of a University faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development, student counseling, and administration. Help lead quality improvement projects for the division. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

MD/DO or foreign equivalent Eligible for licensure in Illinois Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics 3 years Residency in Pediatrics Preferred Qualifications

Leadership in teaching residents and medical students 3-5 years experience working with infants and children who have or are at risk of having neurodevelopmental disability Experience in diagnosing and managing autism spectrum disorder in young children Experience in evaluation and management of infant and children with cerebral palsy About UICOMP and Partner Institutions
