$165,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr A leading fintech firm at the forefront of alternative investments is seeking an experienced professional to join its Research & Education team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an award-winning, high-growth company that has transformed how financial advisors, institutions, and wealth managers access private market strategies. About the Role The VP of Private Markets Due Diligence will take a lead role in evaluating private equity, private credit, real estate, and other private capital strategies. The position involves conducting in-depth manager due diligence, writing comprehensive reports, and helping to shape the firm’s investment platform. This individual will work closely with senior leaders across the organization and play a critical part in guiding investment decision-making. Key Responsibilities Lead investment and operational due diligence on private capital managers considered for platform inclusion Author detailed and thoughtful due diligence reports covering qualitative and quantitative findings Oversee due diligence processes, ensuring quality and consistency across reports and projects Source new managers, perform screenings, and develop forward-looking market maps across strategies Maintain a pipeline of investment opportunities and track industry developments Prepare educational and marketing materials to explain strategies to clients and stakeholders Present investment insights, product merits, and market trends to internal and external audiences Qualifications 10+ years of financial services experience, with at least 5-7 years focused on private capital manager due diligence Background with a top-tier investment consultant, institutional allocator, or fund-of-funds preferred Strong analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative Excellent writing and presentation abilities, with the confidence to engage senior industry professionals Independent, proactive, and highly organized Base salary range: $165,000–$190,000 Annual performance bonus and equity participation Subsidized healthcare with 100% employer-paid dental, vision, and telemedicine Virtual mental health support Parental leave Unlimited PTO Seniority level
