Our client is seeking a
Litigation Associate (Plaintiff)
to support their growing clientele in Baton Rouge, LA. This is an on-site position, and they are looking for energetic, driven, and detail-oriented candidates to join their team. The firm is a nationwide plaintiff firm. Key Responsibilities
Conducting case investigations. Managing discovery and document review. Taking and defending depositions. Drafting and arguing motions. Preparing cases for trial. Serving as a second or third chair during trials, with the opportunity to first chair trials as you gain experience. This role involves significant client contact, working closely with families navigating one of the most stressful times of their lives. Empathy, professionalism, and building rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds are critical to success. Required Skills & Experience
J.D. from an ABA-accredited institution. Admission to the Louisiana StateBar (or eligibility for reciprocity). Strong academic record. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships. Willingness and ability to travel frequently. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Commitment to plaintiff-side work. Preferred Skills & Experience
Trial, research, writing, and deposition experience. Prior personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff-side preferred). Judicial clerkship experience is highly encouraged. What They Offer
