Requirements Must have

A bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering (including systems engineering), or computer science. At least 4 years of professional experience in engineering, computer science, remote sensing, aerospace, or defense. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience specifically in systems engineering. Two years of experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and modeling. Two years of experience in developing system/software requirements. A basic understanding of coding in Python. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Preferences

Experience with remote sensor systems or software architecture, particularly with OPIR sensor processing. A background in supporting systems engineering programs within the defense and aerospace sectors. Experience in transforming prototypes into production-level engineering solutions. More than 2 years of professional experience in systems engineering. Familiarity with the Cameo family of tools, particularly Cameo Systems Modeler. Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies. Proven experience in program management and project leadership. Familiarity with the Earned Value Management System. Graduate degrees or coursework in Systems Engineering or related disciplines. An active SECRET DoD security clearance or higher. Responsibilities

Implementing systems engineering processes that align with IEEE 15288. Designing and modeling architectures for data processing systems. Developing artifacts using Model-Based Systems Engineering. Mentoring fellow SciTec team members in systems engineering processes and methodologies. Communicating professionally and effectively with customer representatives, program managers, software developers, and other systems engineering team members. The pay range for this position is between $117,000 and $168,000 per year.
