The Broker Relationship Manager (BRM) is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a regional broker strategy for key broker accounts to grow TriNet’s business. The BRM drives profitable sales of products, services, and solutions by articulating TriNet’s value proposition to executive-level customers. The role collaborates with Sales Consultants and leadership to leverage TriNet offerings, build long-term relationships, and provide thought leadership. The BRM should have solid product knowledge with the ability to demo specific product lines as needed, maintain and grow relationships, and involve the surrounding team to achieve company goals. What You Will Do
Represent and convey TriNet’s products, solutions & services, demonstrating tangible economic value and linking to customer business drivers and KPIs. Target prospective brokers via phone, email, social media, networking events, and association events to expand TriNet’s referral partner network. Troubleshoot issues with internally aligned support teams. Collaborate with regional field sales consultants, leadership, and internal stakeholders to leverage TriNet resources and build consensus. Develop trust-based, mutually beneficial relationships with principal customer sponsors while promoting business growth across multiple levels within strategic accounts. Generate pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment. Other projects and responsibilities may be added at manager’s discretion. Complies with all policies and standards. Education Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred Experience Qualifications
Typically 8+ years in sales and/or account relationship management in consultative sales (preferred) Typically 2+ years of TriNet sales as a top performer (preferred) Skills And Abilities
Account planning facilitation and presentation skills Strong executive-level selling and relationship skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication Knowledge of sales principles and techniques Negotiation and problem-solving abilities Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace Understanding of customer business drivers and C-level priorities Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple priorities Effective communication and influence across all organizational levels Cross-functional collaboration skills High intellectual curiosity and emotional intelligence Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce Travel
Travel may be required domestically up to 50%. Work Environment
Work in a clean, pleasant office or home setting. Reasonable accommodations may be made for employees with disabilities to perform essential functions. The salary range for this role is $87,600.00 to $210,300.00. Final offer will depend on skills, education, location, and experience. Sales roles may include commissions per TriNet’s plan.
