Gastroenterologist/Advanced Endoscopist – Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, Connecticut (50 miles from New York City).

About the opportunity Norwalk Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, joining Northwell Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterologist with 4th year Advanced Endoscopy training and/or EUS and ERCP training/experience. This is an opportunity to join a long established teaching program that is growing and expanding general and advanced GI services. Our team includes eight physicians and two advanced practitioners. There is opportunity for a faculty appointment. We perform procedures in a state-of-the-art brand new endoscopy suite. Our Gastroenterology Fellowship is a Yale University School of Medicine level II affiliated, three-year program leading to ABIM certification in Gastroenterology. Norwalk is located one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County next to Westchester County in New York.
Responsibilities and team The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Gastroenterology and 4th year trained in Advanced Endoscopy and/or trained/experienced in EUS and ERCP. Position includes a mix of general and advanced cases. Our team consists of a collegial group of physicians and advanced practitioners.

Compensation and Benefits We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CME and Dues expenses. Ten days of CME is provided. Part-time schedules will be considered. Generous sign-on bonus and relocation assistance noted above.
