Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 24-hour call coverage for cardiothoracic surgery cases
Respond to emergency and urgent surgical consults as needed
Perform necessary cardiothoracic surgical procedures within scope of assignment
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure continuity of care during call periods
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Additional Information
Must hold an active Oklahoma medical license
Required board certifications: Thoracic Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
Prior experience in 24-hour emergency department call coverage preferred
