Regional Director Practice Operations Quality – UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Great Lakes The Regional Director Practice Operations Quality is responsible for the overall operational success of his/her assigned medical practices. Provides strategic leadership and direction utilizing the tools that have been provided, including the coordination of all practice activities except those directly involving professional medical judgment. Works in collaboration with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) corporate support departments and AdventHealth (AH) to meet the needs of the assigned practices and maintain efficient operations. Position requires a high degree of independence, initiative, judgment, and follow-through on a wide range of sensitive and complex issues. Responsibilities

Develops and implements quality strategies ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards and driving a culture of continuous improvement Manages and balances provider templates for optimized utilization, monitoring productivity to determine the need to add or consolidate providers Evaluates and manages quality metrics to drive clinical quality and patient safety, overseeing outcomes, licenses, certifications, accreditations, onsite inspections, and risk events Represents the service line during each step of the recruitment process, identifying and communicating the need for new providers and monitoring recruitment triggers Focuses on consumer experience through oversight and accountability of performance, managing action plans, and escalating complaints as needed Delivers on Team Member Promise through team leadership development conversations, overseeing team engagement action plans, and ensuring compliance with mandatory training requirements Ensures workflow optimization and effectiveness for both providers and staff, holding service line performance accountable through a variety of meeting structures Manages crucial conversations and disciplinary action plans for providers and staff, conducting intentional practice rounding with providers and staff Reviews upcoming provider renewals and holds introductory contract renewal discussions Responsible for financial growth in managing practice and/or specialty to mission support and budget, accountable for overall financial performance of practices within service lines Understands capital responsibilities and core tenets of expense management and revenue impact from volume, identifying and developing capital needs for practices to assist in annual capital planning Works with facilities and purchasing teams to develop forms and present to capital committees for capital requests Collaborates with appropriate partners on the execution of strategic and operational plans, including space planning to accommodate growth, fellowships, residencies, and other learners Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Bachelor's Required Master's Preferred 10+ years of operational healthcare experience in quality or clinically integrated network preferred Possesses excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Knowledge of medical technology and terminology Experience in finance and accounting skills with regards to the oversight of a departmental budget Data analysis and critical thinking Exceptional organizational skills as demonstrated by the ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines Ability to develop positive working relationships with members of multiple teams Highly professional with excellent customer service skills
