Overview
JOB AD: Clinical Pharmacist Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for Clinical Pharmacist to partner with us in providing quality medical care to patients within a transitional setting. The Clinical Pharmacist, alongside fellow team members, will be entrusted to ensure that competent care and safety are consistently delivered with compassion to the patient population. The medical teams will be located within a secure medical facility, where services include, but are not limited to, medical screening (new arrivals), comprehensive screening, sick call, 24-hour emergency medical and mental health treatment, and women’s medical care. Aspen Medical will provide additional EMS, diagnostic and laboratory, and other ancillary services. All clinic service delivery will be provided in accordance with US clinical standards and compliance measures.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with medical teams to support patient care in a secure facility environment.
Contribute to medical screening, comprehensive screening, sick call, 24-hour emergency treatment, and women’s medical care services as part of the clinical team.
Support medication management and safety processes in alignment with clinical standards.
Assist with implementation of care plans and ensure quality of service delivery across clinic operations.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Pharm D
PGY 1 minimum
Current Unrestricted License to practice Pharmacy
A minimum of three years’ experience
Correctional experience a plus
Language
Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
