Shasta Cascade Heath Centers is looking to welcome a dedicated and compassionate optometrist to launch and lead its first in-house eye care service offering in beautiful rural Northern California. With the only local optometrist retiring soon, patient demand is high, creating a rare opportunity to step into an established area and make an impact. Open to both recent graduates and experienced professionals, this full-time role offers the opportunity to build or expand hands-on experience in both clinical care and practice management from day one. You will play a key role in leading and expanding the newly established Optometry Department, helping to shape its services and impact within the community. You'll also take part in provider meetings and support community outreach initiatives that align with SCHC’s mission. This position offers flexible scheduling with no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties, and a competitive salary range of $145,000-$165,000, depending on experience.
