RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Health are seeking a Pediatric Neurologist to join the Department of Pediatrics at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in East Brunswick, New Jersey. This is an opportunity for a physician dedicated to academic medicine and clinical/lab bench research. The ideal candidate will join a well-established team of 4 faculty members providing inpatient and outpatient care to children with complex neurological diseases. The Neurological division includes a level 4 epilepsy program, concussion program, and pediatric multiple sclerosis program. Academic appointment with be available based on prior experience and achievement. Offering competitive compensation and a robust benefits package. The outpatient services are located in the Rutgers Child Health Institute of NJ (CHINJ), with practices in Edison, Somerset, and East Brunswick. CHINJ is a state-of-the-art facility that includes a Pediatric CRC, pediatric subspecialty offices, and a modern research facility. The inpatient services of the division are conducted at Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital (BMSCH) in New Brunswick, a 105-bed acute care hospital for children with a dedicated endoscopy suite on the state’s only pediatric academic health campus. The BMSCH is ranked among America’s Best Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report. Adjacent to the hospital is the PSE&G Children’s Specialized Hospital and the Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ, the state’s only NCI-designated center. The Department of Pediatrics has a full complement of pediatric medical subspecialists and collaborates with pediatric surgical specialists in clinical care and academic endeavors. The department comprises 124 physicians and basic scientists focusing on mechanisms of disease, novel therapies, epidemiology, and outcomes research related to childhood diseases. Our centers of excellence include The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities, Child Health Sciences, and the Institute for the Study of Child Development. The department has recently expanded by more than 40 new faculty members and plans to recruit additional faculty to grow research, education, and clinical programs. Provide pediatric neurology clinical care both inpatient and outpatient as part of a multidisciplinary team. Engage in academic activities and, as appropriate, clinical/lab research. Participate in program development and collaboration with subspecialists to deliver comprehensive care for children with neurological diseases. Qualifications

BE/BC in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology NJ licensed or eligible for NJ licensure Apply
