Description
We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Rheumatology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with rheumatic diseases, such as arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality care and improving the quality of life for individuals suffering from these conditions. You will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at advancing research, treatment options, and patient outcomes in the field of rheumatology.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to diagnose rheumatic diseases.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
Monitor and adjust treatment regimens to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Participate in research studies and clinical trials related to rheumatology.
Stay current on advancements in rheumatology and incorporate best practices into patient care.
Educate patients and their families about rheumatic diseases and treatment options.
Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress accurately and timely.
Requirements
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Rheumatology.
Valid state medical license to practice as a Rheumatologist.
Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating rheumatic diseases.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
No call shifts required
Patient Census: 25-30 per day
Preferred Experience: 1+ years
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive base salary
$100k sign-on bonus
