Overview
The Corporate Senior Accountant will work under the direction of the A&C Manager and Corporate Controller. This high-visibility role collaborates with internal and external auditors and finance leadership across the company. The ideal candidate can manage multiple projects, improves processes using data and information systems, and combines creativity with flexibility to meet objectives. Responsibilities
Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations. Identify and document process issues, report them, and propose remediations. Document, maintain, and improve Hub’s accounting and corporate policies. Provide consulting and advocacy services to finance and accounting teams to strengthen internal controls over financial reporting. Administer and strengthen the A&C group’s account reconciliation inventory. Work directly with the external audit firm on the annual financial audit. Administer CoStar lease accounting software system. Update records and process journal entries monthly. Participate in monthly financial close activities as requested. Work and communicate directly with corporate and regional finance/accounting leadership in a high-visibility position. Provide ad hoc assistance to the accounting, finance, and M&A departments for special projects as necessary. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 2–4 years of experience preferred. CPA preferred. Experience collaborating directly with external auditors. Experience with Oracle Fusion, Hyperion, Smart View, Business Intelligence, Workday, ADP, CoStar, Blackline, or other account reconciliation software is a plus. Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects, both in a group and independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
