About the Role: As a Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the total holistic omni customer experience in your store, ensuring high visual and commercial curation and standards according to the store format location and global and regional strategies. You will lead the full store team to excel, create an inclusive culture that promotes collaboration and entrepreneurial spirit, and be responsible for the store's strengths, opportunities, and competitors. You will analyze and follow up on sales, creating plans to optimize results and profits. A typical day will include the responsibilities described below. Responsibilities
Customer Sales & Profit: Responsible for the total omni customer experience in your store, ensuring visual and commercial curation according to your store format environment, global guidelines and regional strategies. Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions. Establish, analyze, and follow up on sales and budget goals, and create plans to optimize results. Ensure personal customer service is provided in all areas of the store, guiding customers through fashion stories and actively selling our products. Follow up that your teams promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives. Schedule to budgeted hours in line with sales budgets and commercial activities. Ensure correct routines in fitting room and checkout, including transactions, returns and exchanges. Be aware of store strengths and opportunities, identify commercial opportunities and act on them. Maintain competitor awareness. Manage store maintenance in a cost-efficient way. Ensure admin routines for both people and operations are handled correctly.
Fashion & Trend Awareness: Keep up to date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers. Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions. Ensure understanding of the local area, customers, competition, and fashion trends.
Team & Development: Responsible for talent and performance management in your store – recruiting, onboarding, upskilling, and developing your team. Complete performance evaluations and succession planning to support business needs. Retain and share knowledge with your team. Collaborate with Area team and store leadership team, including VMs. Ensure excellent communication and professionalism. Responsible for planning and scheduling for the team. Maintain regular communication to inform, motivate and inspire staff. Ensure all procedures, routines, security, and legal requirements in all areas of the store are followed. Participate in onboarding and training processes relevant to your role and development.
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution: Ensure a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house. Maintain high fashion quality, visual and product presentation with proper garment care. Ensure good stock levels and provide input on allocation. Responsible for daily opening and closing of store routines and processes. Ensure full garment cycle from delivery to presentation and fitting room routines are aligned with standards and processes. Maintain in-store omni services and tech tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.). Ensure price signs are maintained consistently. Update and maintain BOH areas with key information and safety/tidiness.
Qualifications
To be a successful Store Manager, you are a strong leader who takes responsibility for others.
Confident in coaching and development. You are ambitious, an effective communicator, an analytical problem-solver, and able to work with numbers and statistics.
Experience in a leadership position applicable to the role.
Retail management and operations experience.
Experience collaborating closely with a team.

Compensation & Additional Information Compensation: salary range is $65,397.21 – 76,187.75 annually.
