Seeking Environmental and Technical Research Consultant candidates with relevant Energy, Science, and Technology Research Sector Experience to support professional services engagement for Energy, Science, and Technology Research Sector Clients such as DOEOP. This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Functional Area - Energy Technical Consulting Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. Responsibilities
Provide Environmental and Technical Research Consultant services in the Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis functional area, focusing on environmental assessments, energy technologies feasibility, data analysis, modeling, forecasting, report development, and data tracking tools. Support DOE Office of Policy (OP) objectives with public comment reviews, workforce policy analysis, convening, and energy policy research related to renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies. Conduct in-depth research and analysis on energy markets, economic impacts, and regulatory strategies; ensure alignment with project objectives and DOE strategies. Engage in cross-functional collaboration and participate in DOE strategy discussions as needed. Qualifications
Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) with a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience. Skills Analytical thinking, proficiency in data analysis tools, strong communication, and subject matter expertise in energy and policy domains. Competencies Problem-solving, adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, and understanding of energy sector operations.
