Overview

Since 1984, Larkin Street Youth Services has helped more than 75,000 young adults in San Francisco with outreach, shelter, housing, education, employment, healthcare, and other services. Today, Larkin Street Youth Services is the largest provider of housing and services to homeless youth in the Bay Area. We serve 1,500 youth annually, providing more than 500 emergency shelter, transitional, supportive, and subsidy-based housing beds at several sites across San Francisco. Our culture emphasizes achievement, professional development, teamwork, and self-care, with a focus on nurturing potential, promoting dignity, and supporting bold steps by all. Under the guidance of the Division Director of Client & Clinical Services and as a core member of the Wellness Team, the Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Clinician provides comprehensive strengths-based mental health services to transitional age youth (TAY) ages 18-24, using Trauma-Informed Care, Harm Reduction, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI), and Restorative Practices. The onsite PSH clinician will specialize in culturally responsive care for formerly unhoused TAY residents at two PSH sites, Launch and Ascend in San Francisco, including TAY living with moderate to severe mental health challenges through the statewide No Place Like Home program. The PSH Clinician will also provide clinical consultation and professional development to program staff across Larkin Street and lead collaborative team conferences. This position is full-time and eligible for full benefits.
