Design and plan network communication systems; provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Troubleshoot and isolate network faults in LAN/WAN environments; specify hardware and software selections and implementation techniques to meet business needs Conduct testing of network designs and evaluate new technologies to enhance network capabilities Maintain technical expertise in network and software interconnections (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.) Build deployable field units in Aurora as part of the role Collaborate to ensure capacity planning for present and future requirements Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 12+ years, or PhD with 10+ years; an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Active Top Secret/SCI at time of application; willingness to sit for a Full Scope polygraph Security+ certification required Willingness to travel a minimum of 20% Experience with LAN/WAN and OSPF/BGP/EIGRP Knowledge of switches, firewalls, routers hardware and software Encryption knowledge Preferred Qualifications
Current adjudicated Full Scope polygraph Security+ certified Maintain technical expertise in network and interconnecting systems and evaluate new technologies to enhance network capabilities Salary and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $171,000.00 – $256,400.00. Northrop Grumman considers multiple factors when determining base salary offers, including scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Benefits include health and life/disability insurance, savings plan, holidays, and paid time off. Some positions may include overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses or Long Term Incentives as applicable.
