Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Greenwich, CT. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, maintaining general ledger accounts, performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, and managing audits and tax filings. In addition, the individual will assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
Maintain general ledger accounts across multiple consolidated legal entities.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Manage external audits and tax filings.
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Accounting and general ledger maintenance for multiple, consolidated legal entities
Experience with financial reporting and analysis
Skills in managing audits and tax filings
Proficiency in interest calculations and preparation of investor capital statements
Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance
Experience with maintenance of monthly accrual schedules
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Other ad hoc investor and third party reporting requirements
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field
Experience in the investment or financial sector is a plus
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
