Our client is a private equity firm. They seek a Senior Accounting Associate to join their Greenwich, CT office. Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Oversee the accounting for corporate entities, from transaction initiation to reporting Review owned entities and present them to the senior finance management team Prepare general ledger reconciliations to underlying sub-ledgers and source systems Manage consolidation adjustments, allocated footnotes, and disclosures Assist with work papers for interim and annual audits and address follow-up questions Analyze yearly tax filings, working with external tax advisors, to meet requirements Prepare analysis and communicate results to senior management and external stakeholders Research new financial reporting requirements and apply these standards and guidelines Consult with technical accounting experts to guide regulatory or policy changes Partner with stakeholders to understand processes and identify improvement opportunities Requirements
4+ years of accounting experience Financial services industry experience Process improvement experience Self-starter and able to work independently CPA strongly preferred Skilled in NetSuite Additional details
