Responsibilities
Ensure that IT systems are properly maintained, efficient, and optimized. IT network appliances, storage area networks, servers and VMs, whether physical or cloud, Mac, Linux or Windows, are managed and monitored with the same methods and practices as all other infrastructure components. Record device configurations every 24 hours and store in a Network Configuration Manager interface for backup and recovery. Secure network infrastructure backups with scheduled and ad-hoc snapshots using tools such as Cohesity to facilitate rapid restoration and disaster recovery/continuity of operations. Regularly maintain and archive documented SOPs and artifacts in central shared drives with appropriate permissions; review System Security Plans quarterly to support security audits and annual assessments to maintain Authority to Operate per FISMA and FIPS-199. Consult with the customer to ensure conformity to contractual obligations; establish and maintain technical and financial reports; organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates; oversee task completion and support marketing in identifying potential business. Additional Knowledge Areas Preferred
Hands-on IT project management experience with traditional waterfall and/or Agile life cycles. Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Experience creating IT project schedules in Microsoft Project or Smartsheet. Familiarity with technology product management best practices and concepts. Intermediate to expert experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Visio. Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders and contract officers. Strategic thinking, multi-tasking, negotiation, conflict management, time management, planning and execution within defined schedules/budgets. Prior Federal, State government IT project management experience; CPIC experience; experience in a matrix environment. Minimum Requirements
Six to thirteen years of experience performing complex infrastructure management and project delivery, providing management and technical direction to personnel supporting an overall program. Under limited supervision, manage specific aspects of infrastructure performance and supervise personnel involved in all infrastructure support and project activities. Eight or more years of experience supporting, planning, and building infrastructure for COOP & DR plans. Minimum Education
Bachelor’s Degree and Active/current PMP certification. Fourteen years of applicable experience may substitute for degree requirements. Related industry certifications (CISCO, CompTIA, DELL, AWS, Microsoft, etc.) are preferred. Work Environment and Physical Demands
