Job Title: Finance Manager Location: Boston, MA Pay Range: $50 - 75 per hour Position Summary
The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, analysis, reporting, and controls to support the company’s financial health and strategic goals. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of finance operations and compliance. Key Responsibilities
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements. Prepare and analyze financial reports including profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flow, and variance analysis. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts in partnership with department heads. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise and mentor finance staff, fostering professional growth and high performance. Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings. Support strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and scenario analysis to senior management. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions as needed. Identify process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a management capacity. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in ERP and financial software such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks. Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking. #ZR
