Pay Range: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 / year. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. Identify opportunities for and manage EHS+S initiatives and projects, coordinating efforts, resources and stakeholders Manage the Enterprise Safety Management and Fleet Safety Software and other key technology platforms, including training, updating, troubleshooting, and developing insights and reports Manage the Travelers’ Workers’ Compensation insurer corporate relationship for optimal recovery of injured employees and reduced cost, including reviewing cases for settlement and understanding state WC requirements Generate Workers’ Compensation data insights and form partnerships with insurer/TPA for optimal claim management Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other EHS regulatory requirements in advisory roles to projects Partner with the National Sustainability Director to promote sustainability programs and report on environmental metrics Contribute to EHS issue management, compliance, and business expansion activities Collaborate with Regional EHS and non-EHS staff, including Directors, Managers and Specialists, as well as contractors Assist in creating and advising on EHS SOPs, training and other compliance guidance Travel to and participate in or lead Corporate EHS+S audits at regional sites Identify risks related to hazardous conditions, design deficiencies and unsafe behaviors; design strategies to prevent injuries and minimize risk Develop executive-level presentations for C-suite and Board decisions Manage Corporate Global and Leader calls and Regional EHS annual plan reviews Qualifications
Required Work Experience:
10+ years of relevant responsibilities; EHS project management experience A degree in Environmental Engineering may be accepted in lieu of full work experience; Bachelor’s Degree EHS-related professional certifications Knowledge:
Experience or knowledge of risk reduction strategies for occupational hazards (biological, chemical, ergonomic, vehicle safety, electrical, IAQ); compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT; global best practices for EHS programs Experience with Safety Management software and data visualization for enterprise insights; proficient with Excel (pivot tables, charts, graphs) Skills:
Self-disciplined, detail-oriented, organized with strong project management; ability to work independently; excellent communication and data-driven decision-making; proficient with Microsoft tools; problem solving and multi-tasking capability; strategic thinking and influence; ability to lead and develop teams Awards/Recognitions
