Ophthalmologist

High volume private practice seeking to add a Cornea Specialist interested in cataract surgery, refractive surgery and surgical cornea care. Fellowship training preferred. The practice is well established and located in a close-knit city in central Ohio, convenient to both Cleveland and Columbus (1 hour drive to each). The need to add a new provider is due to a surgeon relocating out of state for family reasons and to accommodate practice growth. We estimate 500+ cataract surgeries in year one, with potential for 1000+ cataract surgeries within the first few years. The practice currently consists of 2 Ophthalmologists and an Optometric network employing 11 optometrists in 6 satellite locations with on-going plans for future expansion. The surgeons work exclusively out of our main office which contains ample clinic space and modern equipment. All surgeries are performed in an Ambulatory Surgery Center located within our main office. Minimal call responsibilities which are shared with the optometrists. We utilize Ophthalmology specific EHR and scribes. Highly talented and experienced management team and technicians in place, allowing the surgeon to focus on patient care. Practice and ASC are privately owned by physicians with no plans for private equity acquisition. This is a partnership track position with a highly competitive compensation package.
