Southern California Market Manager: Riverside/Rancho Cucamonga/Inland Empire Job Description
In this newly developed role, a successful Market Manager will be a true sales and distributor manager professional. This role is designed to grow distribution in a specific territory, build volume in a dedicated account base as well as travel up to 50% of the time for consumer events as well as education tradeshows. A comprehensive understanding of the brand and the category is expected as is the desire to continually study the industry and skills required to excel in the role. A Market Manager is expected to be a brand builder, account manager, sales motivator, relationship builder, educator and public speaker. Reporting To
The position reports to the Senior Region Sales Director. Desired Skills
Exceptional time management skills. Proficient with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and ability to effectively use software and CRM systems to assist with various aspects of commercial business operations, such as budgeting and planning Desired Background
At least three years sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry with demonstrated success meeting key metrics. This role must have strong, consistent presence in the market with key accounts and customers. Candidates must be able to travel and works night and weekends as required. Office, Travel and Lifting Requirements
This is a home office position which typically requires three to four days per week of travel within a designated geographic area of responsibility. Frequent lifting of 20-40 pounds is expected. Reliable transportation.
