Counsel, Commercial Contracts at S&P Global. This position is fully remote and open to qualified candidates located anywhere within the United States. Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, technology and software licenses, master service agreements, statements of work (SOWs), SaaS agreements, professional services agreements, and other vendor agreements. Contribute to the negotiation of agreements with vendors and suppliers to balance service, cost, quality and risk mitigation. Manage the standard procurement agreement process from intake and drafting through negotiation and execution. Conduct research as needed. Work on special projects as needed. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school (required). At least 5 years of law firm or combination law firm/in-house experience drafting and negotiating contracts, including NDAs, technology/software licenses, MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, and other vendor agreements. Experience handling a high volume of contracts. Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to work with both legal and non-legal colleagues. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Able to quickly learn and develop new skills; independent and innovative thinker with strong analytical and judgment abilities. Ability to juggle multiple clients and projects with competing demands; proactive with strong follow-up. Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team. General understanding of data privacy and protection laws. Familiarity with automotive advertising guidelines and AI/ML issues is a plus. Licensed to practice law in the United States. Right To Work

Base salary range: $75,671 to $125,000, with final base salary based on location, experience and qualifications. Eligible for annual incentive plan.
