Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Sales Director / Sales Manager
to lead and expand our sales operations focused on
industrial fasteners
across a diverse corporate clientele. This role requires a strong background in B2B sales, account management, and strategic business development, ideally within industrial or manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fasteners industry and the ability to build long-term partnerships with corporate customers across various sectors, including medical, aerospace, construction, energy, OEMs, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets and market share goals.
Manage and grow a portfolio of key corporate accounts across multiple industries.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets and regions.
Lead negotiations, prepare proposals, and close high-value contracts with clients.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., engineering, operations, procurement) to deliver client solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to inform product and pricing strategies.
Monitor sales performance metrics and deliver regular reports to executive leadership.
Lead, coach, and mentor members of the sales team (if in a Director-level capacity).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Minimum of
5–10 years of experience
in industrial B2B sales, preferably in fasteners, hardware, or industrial components.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a leadership or individual contributor role.
Strong understanding of industrial fasteners and their applications in various industries.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with OEMs, distributors, and corporate procurement teams.
Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Salesforce, etc.
Technical background or experience working with engineering teams is a strong advantage.
Competitive base salary + performance-based incentives/commission
