Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative engineer to join our team to drive the development of agentic AI to support the growth of our energy business, including Industrial, Residential, Supercharger, Solar and other internal business verticals. You will design, develop and iterate on agentic solutions that solve for key internal workstreams built onto data from various data sources, including deployed fleets, internal applications, and other data warehouses. Your work will accelerate how we gather insights, contribute to our understanding of key business performance indicators, informing data-driven decisions to optimize our strategies and drive business growth. You will lead the development of agentic efforts to identify and resolve fleet-wide performance, operation, and maintenance challenges across our growing fleet of energy products and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize product health of our fleet. What to Expect What you will do and bring to the role: contribute to agentic AI initiatives that support internal workstreams and data-driven decision making across the energy business. What You'll Do
Develop and implement AI-based products using LLMs to create next-generation automation tools that can be leveraged by both internal and external teams. Develop and test quick prototypes to validate concepts, launch beta releases, collect feedback, and iterate on optimal solutions before scaling. Identify and drive optimizations to the product and fine-tune backend APIs to scale to product demands. Drive adoption of large language model solutions and machine learning algorithms for optimizing how we make sense of telemetry and internal fleet data. Research and incorporate emerging language model updates, infrastructures, tools, and technologies, especially pertaining to agentic AI. Help shape the product roadmap and scaling strategy in partnership with engineering and forward-deployed resources. What You'll Bring
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience. Experience building or deploying systems powered by LLMs or generative models and understanding how model behavior affects product experience. Build robust, scalable, and reliable infrastructure to support the deployment and operation of AI agents at scale; experience building or scaling AI-powered platforms and agent-based systems. Deep knowledge of transformer-based LLMs, tokenization, embeddings, context management, and prompt engineering. Familiarity with LangChain for building LLM-powered applications, including chains, agents, and integrations with vector stores or external tools. Proven ability to evaluate, fine-tune, and optimize LLMs for downstream tasks. Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems that deliver results. Compensation and Benefits
