Our Trusts & Estates team is recognized for its expertise in estate planning, administration, and high-net-worth tax matters.
Responsibilities
Prepare/review IRS Forms 706 (Estate), 709 (Gift), 1041 (Fiduciary), and CA Form 541
Support post-death tax planning, trust funding, and sub-trust allocations
Analyze estate documents and tax implications
Collaborate with fiduciaries, attorneys, and financial advisors
Handle IRS/state notices and assist with audits
Conduct research on estate, gift, fiduciary, and GST issues
Qualifications
Active CA CPA license
4+ years’ trust and estate tax experience (including some exp. with 706, 709, 1041, 541)
Proficient with tax software (e.g., Lacerte, CCH Axcess)
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Based in CA (or open to remote work with CA clients)
