Overview

Associate Director, Accounting & Finance – We are seeking a motivated Finance & Accounting professional to join our shared services team supporting multiple companies. This position is office-based in Cincinnati. In this role, you will split your time between CinRx Pharma, a portfolio biotech company, and other entities within our network. Additional details will be provided during the first interview. Responsibilities

Direct all operations of accounting and shared services function, including internal, external and statutory financial reporting and oversight of routine and non-routine transactional processing across multiple entities. Communicate financial updates to senior management and Board of Directors. Oversee the production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and consolidation. Manage the annual financial statement audit. Develop and maintain internal control over financial reporting and systems to mitigate financial reporting risks and streamline business processes. Ensure that company financial records are compliant with applicable regulatory standards (including SEC, US GAAP and local statutory regulations) as well as internal corporate accounting policies and procedures. Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward established goals and objectives. Research and conclude on the appropriate accounting and reporting requirements for all transactions, arrangements, commitments, contingencies and other issues that may occur relating to Company activities. Oversee the hiring, training, evaluation, and retention of shared services associates. Evaluate departmental capacity needs on an ongoing basis and coordinate/delegate workload efficiently and in accordance with given timelines. Management of service provider relationships including, but not limited to administrator, regulatory admin, treasury, custody, and audit relationships. Participate in special projects, financing initiatives, and strategic growth planning as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership of staff. Strong GAAP and financial reporting technical skills. Proficiency with accounting systems, Excel, and financial modeling. Previous experience in planning and executing organizational strategy. Must be able to set, schedule, delegate, and manage multiple deadlines. Excellent management, leadership, communication, presentation, organization and positive influencing skills.
