Overview
Government and Public Sector - FAAS - Senior Manager at EY. This role is with EY’s Government & Public Sector-Financial Accounting Advisory Services (GPS-FAAS) team, focusing on Federal GPS sector service lines and client delivery across strategy, goals, and transformative projects. Your Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver complex advisory engagements, thinking on your feet and challenging existing practices to address client issues. Collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines, build relationships, and identify cross-service opportunities for clients. Travel regularly to meet with key clients, including some of the most respected organizations in their fields. Skills And Attributes For Success
Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; effectively use technology to learn and share knowledge. Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment. Provide leadership in project delivery, delegating tasks, and guiding assurance staff with performance feedback and development. Develop an understanding of EY service lines and encourage team members to contribute ideas tied to the firm\'s services. Direct field work, monitor engagement status, and manage assurance staff performance. To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or business, plus 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience with US Federal GAAP. U.S. CPA license in your work state. Excellent project management and communication/negotiation skills; a collaborative leadership approach. A proven track record of mentoring and improving high-performing teams. Integrity, teamwork, and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Willingness to travel up to 25%-30% or more in a hybrid environment; work may be required at client, EY, and contractor sites. Ideally you’ll also have

Competitive compensation and benefits; base salary ranges vary by location. The base salary range for this job in all US locations is $145,200 to $331,800; in NYC Metro, WA, and CA, ranges are $174,300 to $337,000. Total Rewards include medical/dental, pension and 401(k), and paid time off. Hybrid model with most client-facing roles expected to work in person 40-60% of the time across engagements.
