Overview

A fast-growing fintech organization is seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to help establish and lead its corporate accounting function. Backed by private equity and operating at national scale, the company offers cloud-based financial services to a large and diverse client base across multiple verticals. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Accounting and plays a critical role in managing monthly and quarterly closes, financial statement preparation, and technical accounting compliance. The position is fully onsite and offers high visibility to senior leadership and investment stakeholders. Base pay range

$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Additional compensation types

Annual Bonus Key Responsibilities

Oversee and execute monthly and quarterly close processes across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP Develop and maintain technical accounting memos and internal policies Lead audit preparation and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors Perform financial analysis, variance reporting, and deliver insights to private equity stakeholders Monitor and implement updates from new accounting standards and regulatory changes Manage accounting for goodwill, intangible assets, and capitalized software Support ERP implementation and process automation using NetSuite Provide mentorship to the future Senior Accountant hire Collaborate with internal teams to improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and compliance Requirements

Active CPA license Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience Prior experience in both public accounting and private equity-backed industry roles Strong command of U.S. GAAP with a proven ability to prepare and consolidate financial statements Experience writing technical accounting memos and policies Familiarity with audit processes and working directly with external auditors Expertise in accounting for goodwill, intangibles, and internally developed software Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system Proven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Ideal Candidate Profile
