Description & Requirements
The Managed Care Contracting team assists provider clients (health systems, physician practices, accountable care organizations and more) in the planning and execution of their critical managed care functions. These functions range from contract negotiation and modeling to rate benchmarking and strategic planning. The team is seeking a data-driven, client service-focused candidate with a strong interest in provider contracting and contract negotiations.
What You Will Do
Manage and/or support contract negotiations on behalf of clients, including payor outreach and ongoing communication, contract language review and redlining, and summarizing negotiated rates and terms.
Support the development and refinement of financial models to evaluate contract modeling reimbursement scenarios across diverse provider types
Attend, and occasionally lead, routine client meetings, document key takeaways, and identify follow-up items, acting where appropriate
Provide weekly internal updates to management team about ongoing client engagements
Support and lead preparation of client deliverables, following standards for content accuracy, structural clarity, and visual presentation
Conduct market research initiatives, synthesizing findings into strategic briefs that inform internal project direction and enhance the value of client-facing deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business, Finance, or Healthcare Administration
2+ years of experience in managed care, underpayment recovery, and/or reimbursement modeling space
Proficient experience in Excel and/ or other analytics platforms required
