Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
will lead the Finance Department and serve as a key strategic partner to the executive team. This individual will be responsible for the full scope of financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and audits. The CFO will also play a vital role in financial planning and process improvement across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial operations, accounting functions, reconciliations, and audits Ensure compliance with GAAP and non-profit regulatory requirements Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Manage AP, AR, Payroll, GL, and grant billing functions Develop and implement KPI and dashboard reporting Strengthen internal controls and champion paperless finance systems Serve as a financial advisor to the COO and executive team Prepare and present financial updates to the board of directors Participate in community and organizational events twice per year Team Structure

in the finance and accounting department Education & Experience
Bachelor’s in Accounting (required); Master’s or CPA (preferred) 8+ years of accounting/financial leadership in a nonprofit setting Experience managing large, multi-departmental organizations Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit reporting requirements Skills & Tools
Advanced proficiency in
Microsoft Excel Experience with accounting and fundraising software systems Familiarity with KPI/dashboard tools (preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated success in building and leading effective teams Seniority level
