Our firm, HardestyLLC, has the honor of recruiting a Vice President of Human Resources for an impactful innovative organization in the healthcare space, located in the greater Pasadena area. The opportunity to work with one of the most prominent and impactful non-profits in Southern California will change the way you look at life and how your work directly impacts the lives of our community. The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) is responsible for developing and maintaining a labor environment that aligns with the mission, vision, and values of the company, while adhering to legal, regulatory, and policy requirements. The VP of HR also oversees the administrative and operational functions of the Human Resources department and interdisciplinary teams to ensure that HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Key areas of responsibility include recruitment, record keeping, benefits, employee relations, strategic planning, wage and hour administration, compensation, performance evaluation, employee safety, budget and fiscal management, training and orientation, and Corporate Compliance (as defined by federal law and enhanced by Corporate Compliance policies). The VP of HR must ensure compliance with HR guidelines relevant to accreditation under applicable regulatory bodies, including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Additionally, the VP of HR will collaborate with the organization's Leadership team on employment-related practices to reduce risk and liability, ensure consistency in practices, and support successful operations.
