Rivian is seeking a world-class leader to serve in the newly created position of Senior Manager, Vehicle Systems Electronics Design, who will grow and mentor a team of engineers to support the design and delivery of innovative power distribution and motion control electronics for consumer and commercial spaces, and drive new technologies into Rivian\'s vehicle portfolio. Responsibilities

Own the design and development of electrical system design for next generation sensing systems & high performance compute systems Design, prototype, and test all electrical circuits within your module Align with SW engineers on product architecture and requirements Drive the validation plan for your product by defining test requirements, taking key measurements, and collaborating with validation engineers Drive cross functional meetings and make product defining decisions Collaborate with RF engineers to optimize wireless interfaces for performance and manufacturability Coordinate with mechanical engineers for module packaging, manufacturing, and thermal performance Define hardware and software requirements to ensure your design complies with the full mission profile Collaborate with product launch teams to ensure your product can meet ramp requirements Lead troubleshooting processes and train junior engineers and/or technicians on how to implement them Qualifications

Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related fields) with 12+ years experience or Master\'s degree with 8+ years experience Strong EE fundamentals including power, high speed, computer architecture, analog, and mixed signal design High level understanding of RF design requirements Experience in design and validation of high speed signaling Proficiency in schematic capture and design layout tools (Altium) Deep understanding of product development and managing technical risk Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences Lab proficiency - hands-on knowledge of equipment and best practices Familiarity with RTOS and Linux systems An ability to zoom out on technical problems and create plans to solve them Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $213,000 - $266,300 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law). Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26.
