$120,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Accountable for leading the organization's Flatbed Asset Sales through the development and implementation of the sales strategy and communicating the company’s vision and successfully executing the company’s sales objectives out of our Chicago office. Will be responsible for the energetic management, development and signing of profitable new business, additional business, and maintaining current accounts specifically for through supporting outside sales efforts targeting more sophisticated shippers. Tasked with looking for customer synergies and driving enterprise level accounts to the organization. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, proposal preparation and presentation(s), contract signing, start-up and customer service follow-up after the sale. Challenge is to support the team, expand account base, increase revenues and improve profitability. Successful and stable track record of diversified logistics and transportation selling, negotiating and managing external sales team within Asset/Freight Brokerage. Sales Management (5 -10 years) Business planning (annual sales plans, budgeting, forecasting) Pricing and Margin for new business opportunities (RFP/RFQ responses) Computer Skills (Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to Travel Education: College Graduate-BA or BS (Marketing, Business or related field) Background Preferred (but not required): Thorough understanding of Supply Chain and creating value for the customer Other essential abilities and skills: Advanced Financial Knowledge High Energy - Closer Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Team player Ability to motivate diverse personnel through collaborative skills Seniority level
