Job Overview:
A leading national law firm is seeking a highly qualified
Associate Attorney
to join its Mergers & Acquisitions Clearance Team. This role is centered on antitrust regulatory compliance in the context of corporate transactions and is ideal for attorneys with 1–4 years of relevant experience in antitrust/competition law, particularly relating to the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act (HSR Act). The successful candidate will support antitrust, corporate, and private equity practices, with opportunities to assist on international merger control matters and substantive antitrust counseling. Location: Duties: Evaluate HSR reportability for M&A transactions Prepare and file HSR forms, coordinating with clients, corporate teams, and opposing counsel Support compliance with domestic and international merger control requirements Collaborate with European-based teams on cross-border filings Assist in Second Request responses and regulatory reviews Analyze competitor transactions from an antitrust perspective Provide antitrust compliance and counseling support to clients in corporate and private equity transactions Requirements: 1–4 years of experience in antitrust/competition law, with a focus on M&A clearance Familiarity with the HSR Act and U.S. merger control processes Experience with private equity transactions or corporate M&A is a plus Ability to manage document-intensive filing processes under tight deadlines Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in legal documentation Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Certifications: Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of employment (MA, IL, NY, or DC) Skills: Strong drafting and legal research skills Excellent communication and client management abilities Organizational efficiency and ability to prioritize competing deadlines Collaborative mindset for cross-functional and cross-border teamwork Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan and firm-sponsored wellness programs Continuing legal education and professional development support Opportunities to work on high-profile, international transactions Training and mentorship from seasoned antitrust partners and team leaders Company info BCG Attorney Search 225 Franklin Street, 26th floor Boston Massachusetts United States 02110 Phone :
