Tax Accountant - High Net Worth - Salary up to $175K
Our client is seeking a seasoned tax professional who thrives on solving complex challenges and providing strategic guidance to clients. This is a unique opportunity to work on sophisticated individual and fiduciary tax matters, partner closely with high-net-worth clients, and play a key role in strategic tax advisory. Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and filing of complex federal and state individual and fiduciary income tax returns. Manage compliance for a variety of entities, including trusts, estates, charitable organizations, etc. Conduct tax planning and projections. Review trust agreements and related documents. Review and mentor junior tax accountants to ensure accuracy, compliance, and knowledge-sharing. Prepare amended returns, refund claims, and abatement applications as needed. Represent clients during federal and state tax audits when necessary. Assist in developing tax policies, procedures, and best practices. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s in Taxation preferred. CPA or EA required. 8+ years of experience preparing individual and fiduciary income tax returns. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
