$140,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Overview
Director of Accounting and Finance position, Hybrid, CPA, Growth opportunity. Based outside of East LA, we are a leading CPG and E-commerce company with a strong growth record. Responsibilities
Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure. Coordinate, analyze, and report financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections, and other special projects as required). Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts for internal management and external parties. Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance. Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for activities including financial accounting and reporting, employee relations (hiring/terminating policies), and other corporate policies. Ensure proficiency in corporate accounting, GAAP, SEC rules and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Manage corporate and human resources activities including employee benefits, retirement plans, corporate insurance and related activities, coordinating with satellite offices as needed. Maintain strong experience with balance sheet reconciliation, GL mapping, journal entries, accruals, month-end close, and the close process. Demonstrate NetSuite software experience and hold an active CPA license. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required; MBA preferred. 5+ years in a senior finance or accounting role. Leadership experience with proven ability to manage a team. Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, GL mapping, journal entries, accruals, month-end close, and close process management. NetSuite experience required. Active CPA license preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work independently on multiple tasks and collaborate with various teams in a fast-paced environment. Proactive with strong ethics, integrity, and a positive attitude. Benefits
