Information Systems Manager

who will be an integral part of the IT organization managing connected vehicle solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead development and optimization of IoT, streaming, web, and mobile applications Manage connected vehicle solutions within the IT organization Select and modify enterprise application software Facilitate design sessions and guide strategic technical decisions Prepare budgets, schedules, and feasibility studies Provide direction and oversight across all layers of application development Define strategic goals and technology roadmaps Offer subject matter expertise on web, mobile, and telematics platforms Plan and coordinate project execution within assigned areas

Minimum Requirements

OR Bachelor’s degree At least 10 years of information systems/information technology experience At least 4 years of management experience OR Master’s degree At least 8 years of information systems/information technology experience At least 4 years of management experience OR At least 12 years of information systems/information technology experience At least 4 years of management experience

Additional Requirements

Desired Skills

Deep understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), realtime technologies (e.g., IoT, streaming, realtime data analytics), developing projects targeting a variety of form factors (Mobile, IoT, Web), and Application Lifecycle Management (Agile, SCRUM, TFS, Azure DevOps) Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, MVC, .NET, ASP) and mobile development (iOS, Android) Knowledge of big data platforms (e.g., Synapse, BigQuery) and ability to perform analysis of big data Ability to evaluate and grow technical talent within the organization Ability to establish and maintain deep technical knowledge of technology products and services Serve as subject matter expert when assisting clients and internal teams, including executive level, by identifying, defining, and recommending technical modifications or new strategies Ability to translate external customer needs and sprint/release schedules into solution deliverables Respond rapidly to changing requirements and adjust priority, scope, timeline, and resources accordingly Ability to manage the work of assigned resources and help them complete their assignments Understand incoming work, assess difficulty, and determine the best staff for execution Develop tactics for achieving annual goals and objectives of the department Exercise first-level management authority over employee relations, staffing, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, promotions, and hiring decisions Ensure administrative policies and procedures are taught to and followed by staff Excellent writing and listening skills with the ability to disseminate information clearly Strong communication and presentation skills across diverse audiences Understand high-level business strategy and apply it to roadmaps and prioritization of requirements/user stories Match technical solutions with customer business requirements Lead and motivate technical communities and adapt to change Drive for results and customer-focused execution Team-oriented work ethic
