Overview
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Controller to oversee the financial operations of a growing technology services company. This role will provide leadership across accounting, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning while working closely with senior leadership to drive business goals. Responsibilities
Lead and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close. Oversee preparation of accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP. Manage the annual budget process, forecasting, and cash flow management. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings. Partner with leadership to provide financial insights, modeling, and recommendations for business decisions. Implement process improvements, internal controls, and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as needed. Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting systems, and financial reporting. Experience in a small to mid-sized business environment where hands-on involvement is key. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Tech-savvy, with the ability to evaluate and implement new systems and tools. Collaborative leadership style with the ability to partner cross-functionally. Compensation
