IT Applications Director

to lead and evolve our enterprise applications landscape in alignment with our global digitization and data-driven transformation strategy. This role will be instrumental in deploying advanced enterprise applications and

AI-powered solutions

across the business while also helping shape and implement a forward-looking

enterprise data strategy . The successful candidate will combine deep technical and manufacturing expertise with strong leadership and project execution capabilities. They will work closely with the CIO and senior leadership to translate business needs into scalable IT and data solutions that enhance agility, efficiency, and innovation. What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership : Partner with the CIO and business executives to define and execute the company's application, AI, and data strategies in support of business growth and digital transformation goals. AI-Driven Innovation : Identify and lead the implementation of AI/ML solutions that enhance decision-making, automate workflows, and improve operational performance across functions such as manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and commercial operations. Enterprise Applications Oversight : Lead the full lifecycle of business-critical applications, ensuring seamless integration, functionality, and alignment with user and business requirements. Data Strategy & Governance : Collaborate with data and analytics teams to define data architecture, governance, and quality standards, ensuring that enterprise systems contribute to a robust, accessible data ecosystem. Cross-Functional Integration : Serve as the connective tissue across IT, data, and business domains, ensuring that systems and data platforms are cohesive, interoperable, and value-generating. Project Execution : Drive complex, global IT initiatives with clear planning, strong governance, and business alignment—delivering impactful results on time and within budget. Business Engagement : Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating strategic needs into prioritized IT and data initiatives. Process Maturity : Enhance internal development and deployment processes, from ideation through production support, to increase agility and scalability. Technology Architecture : Develop and enforce modern application and data architecture principles, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Team Leadership : Mentor cross-functional teams and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and ownership. Travel : Willing and able to travel as needed to global manufacturing sites and business units. What You'll Bring

20+ years of progressive IT leadership in manufacturing environments, with demonstrated success in enterprise applications and digital transformation. A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Proven experience deploying enterprise solutions in areas such as HR, Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, Commercial, and internal operations. Strong understanding of

AI/ML technologies and platforms , including practical experience delivering production-grade AI solutions. Experience with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, CRM, HCM, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP). Hands-on experience building or influencing

data strategies , including data governance, architecture, integration, and analytics platforms. Deep knowledge of application architecture, cloud/on-premise environments, and enterprise systems integration. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all organizational levels. Demonstrated ability to modernize IT delivery practices and lead multifunctional teams through change. What We Value

Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Familiarity with data lake/data warehouse architecture and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks). Knowledge of AI tools and platforms such as Power BI AI features, Azure ML, or other machine learning frameworks. Track record of leading global digital initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
