A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Associate for a full-time, on-site role in Dallas, TX. This position offers the opportunity to work with experienced trial lawyers and develop litigation skills in a supportive environment.
Duties
Handle document review and prepare discovery responses. Assist in interrogatory and deposition processes. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, and notices for filing. Attend trials, argue motions, and participate in hearings. Requirements
5+ years of experience in construction litigation and premises matters. Significant construction litigation and trial experience preferred. Strong drafting, written, and verbal communication skills. Excellent negotiation and deposition-taking abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications
Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Skills
Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presentation skills. Superior analytical skills, including data analysis and problem-solving. Sharp deductive reasoning and critical thinking.
