Sr Vendor Management Analyst
at
Community Health Systems
is a strategic, data-driven role focused on vendor governance, contract optimization, and performance management across the Digital Technology vendor portfolio. The successful candidate will partner with leadership, procurement, finance, cybersecurity, and technology teams to ensure vendors deliver against contractual commitments, support enterprise priorities, and meet evolving security and compliance standards. You will design reporting frameworks, lead complex negotiations, and identify cost and efficiency opportunities to drive measurable business value and operational excellence in vendor partnerships.
Responsibilities
Serve as a primary liaison between senior technology leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to align vendor performance with strategic business objectives
Lead vendor performance management activities, including SLA/KPI reviews, remediation oversight, root cause analysis of service issues, and escalations to executive stakeholders when needed
Oversee the contract lifecycle for key technology vendors, including negotiation support, renewal strategy, compliance audits, and governance documentation
Mentor and guide junior analysts, providing best practice frameworks for vendor tracking, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
Skills and Competencies: Advanced knowledge of vendor governance frameworks, IT service management (ITSM) practices, and technology procurement strategies; strong financial acumen with budget forecasting, cost modeling, and ROI analysis for vendor contracts; excellent negotiation and influence skills; strong understanding of contract law fundamentals, software licensing models, and risk management principles in a technology context
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred
3–5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement analytics, asset management, finance, or operations
Experience with procurement or vendor management tools such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
Demonstrated success in managing high-value technology vendors and driving measurable improvements in cost, compliance, and performance
